New in Tactic Board Football: Divisions, Cups and Difficulty Modes

The biggest update yet for Tactic Board Football Game is here. Version 1.1.0 turns a single league season into a full football pyramid: divisions to climb, cups to win, difficulty levels to pick, and several careers to run side by side. Here is everything that is new.

Climb three divisions, with promotion and relegation

The career is now a ladder. You start in Division 3 and earn your way up through three divisions to the top flight, with promotion and relegation at the end of every season. Finish high and you go up; slip into the drop zone and you go down. It is the part of football management that makes a season matter, and now every match you draw a tactic for has a table consequence behind it.

Two knockout cups

Alongside the league there are now two cup competitions: a domestic knockout and a continental one. Cups are single-game pressure, one bad tactical read and you are out, so they reward sharp attacking decisions and pay out bigger rewards when you go deep. They also throw you against opponents you would not meet in your own division, which is a real test of how well your drawn moves travel.

Choose your challenge: Easy, Normal or Hard

When you create a club you now pick a difficulty mode. Easy is a relaxed way to learn the tactics board and enjoy the climb. Normal is the standard test. Hard sharpens the opponents and the margins for players who want every promotion to be earned. Because outcomes come from your tactical reads rather than visible percentages, difficulty changes how punishing a loose pass or a low-percentage shot really is.

Save and manage up to three clubs

You can now run up to three separate careers at once and switch between them anytime. Keep a relaxed Easy save for casual play, a Hard save for a real grind, and an experimental club for testing tactics, all in parallel.

Sit back with autoplay

New autoplay mode lets your team play a match out while you watch, then step back in and draw the tactics whenever you want to take control. It is a lighter way to move through a season when you would rather spectate than direct every single attack.

Deeper match stats, including xG

After every game you now get deeper match statistics: possession, shots, shots on target, and expected goals (xG). It is the manager’s-eye view of whether your tactics actually created the better chances, or whether you rode your luck. Pair it with match replays to see exactly which drawn moves were generating the xG.

Smarter, more realistic matches

Under the hood, 1.1.0 ships smarter opponent simulation, season-to-season squad changes so the league keeps shifting around you, and rebalanced opponents across the divisions. There is also in-app news, daily puzzle improvements, and a long list of bug fixes and design polish.
