Privacy Policy, Tactic Board Football
Effective date: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tactic Board Football (“TBFootball”, the “Game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play our mobile game on iOS or Android. By playing, you agree to this Policy.
Plain-language summary: You don’t create an account or give us your name or email to play. We save your game progress against a random ID generated on your device. We use Apple/Google and RevenueCat to handle purchases, and Google AdMob to show ads. In some regions you’ll be asked to consent before we (or our partners) use your data for personalized advertising, you can decline and still play.
1. Information We Collect
a) Device and identity data. When you first open the Game, the app generates a random identifier (“Device ID”) and a signed access token derived from it. We use these to save your game and wallet and to keep your data secure. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location to play.
b) Game progress and purchase data. We store your career, squad, fixtures, standings, and in-game balances (coins and diamonds), linked to your Device ID. When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and our purchase provider RevenueCat; we receive purchase records (e.g. product purchased, transaction identifiers, purchase/restore status) but never your full payment card details.
c) Usage and diagnostic data. We log basic gameplay events (such as app opens / daily logins) to understand retention and improve the Game, along with technical data needed to operate the service (e.g. requests to our servers, error/diagnostic information).
d) Advertising data. The Game shows advertising (including rewarded ads you may choose to watch for in-game rewards) through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and any networks it mediates may access:
- your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android),
- your IP address and coarse location derived from it,
- device characteristics (model, OS version, language, network type), and
- ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, completions).
Whether this data is used for personalized (interest-based) advertising depends on your consent and device permissions, see Section 5.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- provide, save, sync, and restore your game progress and purchases;
- operate the online service that resolves matches and prevents cheating/fraud;
- display and measure advertising (personalized only where permitted, see Section 5);
- understand engagement and improve the Game (analytics);
- provide customer support; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your contact information. We share information with:
- Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat, to process and validate in-app purchases.
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads, our advertising provider), to serve and measure ads, including through AdMob mediation of other ad networks. Depending on your consent, these partners may use advertising identifiers for personalized advertising and measurement.
- Infrastructure providers (for example, Cloudflare), to host the servers that run the Game.
- Authorities / legal, where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy: RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy), Google / AdMob (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and how Google uses data from apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites), Apple (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/), Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
4. Legal Bases (EEA / UK)
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Game you requested), legitimate interests (to secure the service, prevent cheating, run analytics, and show non-personalized ads), consent (for personalized advertising and any other use that requires it), and legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 5).
5. Advertising Choices and Consent
- Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS). Before any partner uses your IDFA to track you across apps/websites, iOS shows a permission prompt. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- EEA / UK consent. In these regions we present a consent screen using Google’s certified Consent Management Platform (Google UMP) before serving personalized ads. You may accept or refuse, and you can change your choice later from the Game’s settings / consent option. Refusing does not stop you from playing; you’ll receive non-personalized ads.
- Android. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- United States (California and similar). “Sharing” advertising identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share” under certain laws. You may opt out, withdraw ad consent / decline tracking as above, or contact us at the email in Section 11 to request that we limit such sharing.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
Because we identify your data only by a random Device ID (not your name or email), we may ask you to provide your Device ID, which is shown in the Game’s Settings screen, so we can locate your data and act on your request. You can reset your career in the Game to clear your club and season progress; note that some data tied to your Device ID (such as purchase records and in-game currency balances kept for fraud prevention and record-keeping) is retained. Deleting the app stops further collection from your device but does not, by itself, erase the data already stored on our servers. For full deletion of the data we hold, contact us at the email in Section 11, and we will delete it subject to any legal retention obligations. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Data Retention
We keep game and purchase data while you use the Game and as needed for the purposes in this Policy (including fraud prevention, financial record-keeping, and legal compliance). We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed or upon a valid deletion request.
8. International Data Transfers
We run the Game on cloud infrastructure (including Cloudflare) and use service providers that may store and process your information in the United States and other countries, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK to a country that has not been found to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum). By using the Game, you understand your information may be processed in these locations.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including signed device tokens and access-controlled, server-side storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Game is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://tacticboardfootball.com/privacy and update the “Effective date” above. Material changes may also be notified in the Game.
